support in the form of an interest free loan provided by SFAC to qualifying projects to meet shortfall in the capital requirement
for implementation of the project.

    One can only apply online, offline application forms will not be accepted.

    Support for International Patent Protection in Electronics and & Information Technology (SIP-EIT)

    SIP-EIT is a scheme to provide financial support to MSMEs and Technology Startup units for international patent
    filing to encourage innovation and recognize the value and capabilities of global IP along with capturing growth opportunities in ICTE sector.

  • 1. The Applicant should be registered under the MSME Development Act 2006 of Government of India as amended from time to time as a MSME unit as per the criteria for such      registration(the applicant would be required to furnish the proof of such registration).
  • 2. The applicant should be a registered company under the Companies Act of Government of India and should fulfill the investment limits in plant and machinery or equipment as defined      in the MSME Development Act 2006 of Government of India as amended from time to timethis criteria will be ascertained from the proof of such registration and last audited balance       sheet of the applicant
  • 3. The applicant should be a registered STP Unit and should fulfill the investment limits in plant and machinery or equipment as defined in the MSME Development Act 2006 of       Government of India as amended from time to timethis criteria will be ascertained from the proof of such registration and last audited balance sheet of the applicant.
  • 4. The applicant should be a technology incubation enterprise or a startup located in an incubation centre/ park and registered as a company (a certification from the incubation centre/       park in this case is mandatory) and should fulfill the investment limits in plant and machinery or equipment as defined in the MSME Development Act 2006 of Government of India as       amended from time to time(this criteria will be ascertained from the proof of such registration and last audited balance sheet of the applicant).

  • Procedure to Apply Online

    The procedure to apply online under the scheme is as follows:

  • Step I) First of all, go through the brochure thoroughly, and make sure that you fall under the eligibility criteria.
  • Step II) In order to apply, you need to create a Login ID, which would be used in further communications.
  • Step III) After you have created your user account, you can Login and Apply Online for the Scheme. Before proceeding to apply online, kindly make sure that you have read the
    Guidelines thoroughly and also checked the List of documents to be uploaded during filling up of the online application form.


  • List Of Important Documents to Be Uploaded

  • 1. Proof of registrations as per eligibility criteria.
  • 2. Scanned copy of Last Audited Balance Sheet.
  • 3. If applied for Waiver under Section 39 for international filing, then Scanned copy of Official filing with Indian Patent office.
  • 4. If international application already filed, then Proof of PCT/Paris convention or direct international filing.
  • 5. If Applicant is an Employee or Member of Board of Directors, then it has to be substantiated by a scanned copy of the Documentary proof.
  • 6. Technical write up of Present Invention has to be given in *.pdf format filled as per the format. Download format of technical write up.

    Stand-Up India for Financing SC/ST and/or Women Entrepreneurs

    भारतीय लघु उद्योग विकास बैंक (सिडबी)

    Stand Up India Scheme facilitate bank loans between 10 lakh and 1 crore to atleast one scheduled caste (SC) or Scehduled Tribe, borrower and atleast one women per bank branch for setting up a greenfield enterprise. This enterprise may be in manufacturing, services or the trading sector. In case of non-individual enterprises at least 51% of the shareholding and controlling stake should be held by either an SC/ST or Woman entrepreneur.

  • 1. SC/ST and/or women entrepreneurs; above 18 years of age.
  • 2. Loans under the scheme is available for only greenfield project. GreenField signifies, in this context, the first time venture of the benefeciary in the manufacturing or    services or trading sector.
  • 3. In case of non-individual enterprises,51% of the shareholding and controlling stakes should be held by either SC/ST and/or Women Entrepreneur.
  • 4. Borrower should not be in default to any bank or financial institution.

  • Procedure to Apply Online


    The scheme which covers all branches of Sceheduled Commercial Banks, will be accessed in three potential ways:-

  • Directly at a Bank Branch.
  • Through SIDBI Stand-Up India Portal Standup Mitra.

  • Through the Lead District Manager.

  • How to Avail Stand Up India Scheme.


  • 1. Through stand up India Portal provides information to a potential borrower on various kinds of handholding support from different agencies and also provides a      window to get in touch with banks to avail loans.
  • 2. The applicant first click to "Register" and answer to few short questions on the Registration page of the portal.
  • 3. Based on the response, the Applicant would be classified as the "Trainee Borrower" or"Ready Borrower". Applicant would also be given feedback on his/her eligibility      for stand-up India loan.
  • 4. A trainee borrower/ready borrower may then chose to register andlogin througgh the portal.
  • 5. Upon logging through the portal, the borrower is taken to a dashboard.

    Single Point Registration Scheme

    Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises

    The Government is the single largest buyer of a variety of goods. लघु-स्तरीय क्षेत्र से खरीदी की हिस्सेदारी बढ़ाने के लिए, 1955-56 में शुरू किए गए सरकारी स्टोर खरीद कार्यक्रम की एक झलक. सूक्ष्म एवं लघु उद्यमों (MSES) को सिंगल प्वॉइंट रजिस्ट्रेशन स्कीम (SPRS) के तहत सरकारी खरीद में भागीदारी के लिए NSIC रजिस्टर करती है.

  • All Micro & Small Enterprises having EM Part-II (Optional)/ Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) are eligible for registration with NSIC under its Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS).
  • Micro & Small Enterprises who have already commenced their commercial production but not completed one year of existence.

  • आवेदन करने का तरीका


    1. Micro & Small Enterprises may fill up 'Point of Interest' form available at our website www.nsicspronline.com or on the prescribed application form (in duplicate) either to be downloaded from website or avail from NSIC offices along-with requisite fee and documents to the Zonal/Branch/Sub Branch and Sub Office/Extension office of NSIC situated nearest to their location.

    2. Duplicate copy of the G.P. Registration Application Form submitted by the Micro & Small Enterprise will be forwarded to the concerned Inspecting agency along with copies of required documents and requisite Proof of inspection charges remitted in favor of concerned Inspection Agency requesting for carrying out the Technical Inspection of Micro & Small Enterprise and forward their recommendations in this regard.

    3. After receiving Inspection Report, NSIC will issue the SPRS Registration Certificate to Micro & Small Enterprise for items/stores as recommended.

    4. REGISTRATION FEE:The registration Fee is based on the Net Sales Turnover as per latest audited Balance Sheet of the Micro & Small Enterprise for the Registration, Renewal and any other amendment etc. For detailed fee structure please see the Document section. The Registration Fee is mentioned in the Document section is excluding the Inspection charges. For details of inspecting agencies and their fee please see the Document section.

    Online Registration

    Validity Period Of Single Point Registration

  • 1. The Registration Certificate granted to the Micro & Small Enterprise under Single Point Registration Scheme (Revised), 2003 is valid for Two Years and will be reviewed and renewed after every two years by verifying continuous Commercial and Technical Competence of the registered Micro & Small Enterprise in manufacturing / producing the stores for which it has been registered by NSIC.
  • 2. The Provisional Registration Certificate can be issued to those Micro & Small Enterprises under Single Point Registration scheme with monitory limit of Rs. 5.00 Lacs which shall be valid for the period of one year who have already commenced their commercial production but not completed one year of existence

    ExtraMural Research or Core Research Grant

    Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under Ministry of Science & Technology

    Extramural Research (EMR) funding scheme of SERB to academic institution, research laboratories and other R&D organizations to carry out basic research in all frontier areas of Science and Engineering is in limelight for more than four decades since from the inception of SERC. This scheme encourages emerging and eminent scientist in field of science and engineering for individual centric competitive mode of research funding. Since the scheme provides core research support to the active researchers, the existing name Extramural Research (EMR) has been renamed as Core Research Grant (CRG).

    The scheme provides core research support to active researchers to undertake research and development in frontier areas of Science and Engineering.

    कौन आवेदन कर सकता है


  • Applicants [Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PrincipalInvestigator(s) (Co-PI(s))]should be Indian citizens. Foreign nationals (including OCI and NRI) are also eligible to apply provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria notified by SERB (SERB Funding Guidelines for foreign nationals dated 27th Oct 2016).


  • The applicant(s) must hold a regular academic/research position in a recognized academic institution or national laboratory or in any other recognized R & D institution in India.

  • Faculties recruited through UGC-Faculty Recharge Program are eligible to apply. INSPIRE Faculty, Ramanujan and Ramalingaswamy Fellows are also eligible to apply provided they have at least three and half years of tenure remaining at the time of submission of application.

  • Investigators who will be superannuating during the duration of the project or already superannuated are also eligible to apply. In such cases, a Faculty/Scientist from the host institute who has at least 5 years of service remaining should be associated as a Co-PI. The host institution should allow the investigator to continue after superannuation and provide required support towards implementation of the project.

  • Aspirants of NPDF, ECRA and CRG (EMR) can submit their proposal only once in a calendar year in any one of these schemes.

  • The PI and Co-Investigator(s) should hold Ph.D. degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or M.D / M.S. / M.D.S. / M.V.Sc degree at the time of applying for grant.

  • The term “Regular” in the context of CRG refers to the applicants who are appointed against the sanctioned post or in a tenure post, but are likely to be renewed after the end of the tenure.

  • Nature and Duration Of Support


    1. The CRG schemeprovides research support to an individual researcher or a group of researchers working in a recognized academic institution or national laboratory or in other recognized R & D institution in India.


    2. [Private Academic institutions with valid UGC / AICTE / PCI approval, Private R&D Institutions with valid DSIR-SIRO recognition andVoluntary and Non-Governmental Organizations registered under NITI-AAYOG Darpan portal are eligible to host a project.]


    3. The funding is provided normally for a period of three years.


    4. The research grant is provided for equipment, manpower, consumables, travel and contingency. Overheads”is also be provided to the implementing institution as per prevailing norms of SERB.


    Mode & Selection of Application:


    1. An applicant is eligible to apply only one proposal during a call.

    2. Any proposal technically rejected should not be resubmitted without any substantial revision to any schemes or programs of the SERB.

    3. Not more than one project is allowed at any given time. However, projects under the programs EMEQ, HRHR, IRRD and special calls are exempted from this category. The PI is encouraged to apply for another project six months prior to the completion of the project.

    4. The Call for applications will be made twice a year (July and December) and will be notified through the website serbonline the application form along with a proper research proposal highlighting the research work to be undertaken should be submitted online through the website www.serbonline.in.

    5. The selection will be based on the recommendations of Program Advisory Committee (PAC) constituted by the Board. If required, the applicants maybe called for discussion/ presentation.

    High Risk -High Reward Research

    Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under Department of Science & Technology High Risk and High Reward Research is a scheme supporting and inviting new proposals and ideas expected to have a paradigm shifting influence on the Science and Technology

    उद्देश्य


    The Scheme for funding High Risk - High Reward Research aims at supporting proposals that are conceptually new and risky, and if successful, expected to have a paradigm shifting influence on the S&T. This may be in terms of formulating new hypothesis, or scientific breakthroughs which aid in emergence of new technologies.



    पात्रता


    कौन आवेदन कर सकता है

  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen residing in India.
  • The applicant(s) must hold a regular academic/research position in a recognized institution.
  • किसी व्यक्ति या जांचकर्ता टीम द्वारा प्रस्ताव जमा किया जा सकता है. Proposals submitted by a team of investigators must identify a Principal Investigator, who will spearhead the research objectives and administer the grant.


  • Nature of Proposals to be Supported:


    The scheme is aimed at supporting proposals that are new, challenge existing hypothesis, and provide 'out of box' thinking on important problems. It should contain significant risk elements but promise of high reward if the difficulties could be circumvented. It is expected that the success of such proposals will have far reaching implications in S&T. Outcome could be new and significant theoretical or experimental advances, formulation of new hypothesis, or breakthrough science which will lead to new technologies. वैज्ञानिक मुद्दों से संबंध रखने वाले प्रस्ताव जिनके कारण 'ज्ञान में वृद्धि' होती हो, का समर्थन नहीं किया जाएगा. Ideally, the proposal must contain bold research ideas which will have wide ranging impact and potential for new scientific and technological innovations.



    Nature & Duration of Support


    1. The funding is provided normally for a period of three years. In exceptional cases, the duration can be up to 5 years as assessed by the expert committee.
