    Haryana Cabinet municipal boundaries (the area within the outside of the core limits) Haryana  affordable housing policy (Policy Haryana Affordable Housing) 2018 is approved. This policy will help in realizing PM Modi's vision of "Housing for All" to provide a home to every homeless person. The affordable housing policy under PM Awas Yojana will maximize benefits to eligible PMAY Beneficiaries identified in Haryana

    The maximum allocation rate in Gurugram and Faridabad is Rs 3500 per sq ft. While the lowest allocation rate is Rs 2100 per sq ft. AHP will encourage the planning and completion of group housing projects. Predefined size apartments will be provided at a predefined rate to provide more homes in residential areas within municipal limits. 

    Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Housing for all is a major scheme of the Modi government to provide shelter to poor people. To date, over 1 crore houses have been approved under PMAY- Urban and PMAY- Rural across the country. To provide more houses to PMAY beneficiaries. The Haryana Cabinet has approved the Affordable Housing Policy 2018 for the area falling within the municipal limits (outside the original boundaries) under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

    Haryana Affordable Housing Policy under PM Awas Yojana 2018 (Haryana Affordable Housing Policy Under PMAY 2018)

    The Affordable Housing Policy (PMAY) 2018 was approved in the Haryana Cabinet Committee meeting held on 15 November 2018 under the chairmanship of CM Manohar Lal Khattar. This new policy is for areas outside the core boundaries that lie within municipal boundaries.

    • Economical Policy Housing Policy (Affordable Housing) group is going to encourage the planning and completion of housing projects.
    • In these projects, apartments of pre-determined size are provided within the targeted time frame at pre-determined rates to ensure an increasing supply of affordable housing in residential areas falling within the municipal boundaries.
    • These apartments are mainly given to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) beneficiaries identified by the Urban Local Bodies.
    • All these projects are compulsorily required to be completed within 2 years with approval of building plans or environmental clearance (whichever is later).
    • The maximum allocation rate is 3500 rupees per sq ft in Gurugram and Faridabad, Rs 3000 per sq ft in Panchkula.
    • Pinjore and Kalka, Karnal, Ambala, Hisar, Yamunanagar, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Bahadurgarh, Bawal, Rewari, have Rs 2500 per sq ft. 2100 per sq ft in Palwal, Hodal, Dharuhera and Ganour, and the remaining development schemes.
    Housing for All Haryana Government (Housing for All, Haryana Govt) -

    This will help in achieving the objective of Housing for All and maximize the benefits to the targeted beneficiaries identified in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
