Under this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 1,600 for one LPG connection to every BPL families . However, only those BPL families whose names are in the SECC-2011 Data data are eligible to avail the Ujjwala scheme.

    Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana List - Earlier the link to download SECC-2011 data is not working. But now SECC 2011 data is available at the link given below, however, it displays data on the basis of inclusion and exclusion in the NREGA Scheme. The link is mentioned below:

    • You have to select your state, district, tehsil / taluka, gram panchayat and the type of list you want to see and then click on submit button. If you want to download the SECC 2011 list in Excel format, scroll down the page and click on the "Download in Excel" link.
    • Currently, district-wise rural and urban data is available for 35 states and union territories except Telangana. Continue checking the URL for new data.

    SECC data 2011 for all 35 states and union territories is now available-

    PM Ujjwala Scheme (State-Wise List) - Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Pondicherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Ngal.

    Telangana is not included in the list as this state was formed after 2011. However, the list can be obtained from Andhra Pradesh figures by selecting the district included in Telangana.

    Find your name in SECC-2011 data-

    If you position BPL before your entry in SECC-2011 database and are able to find your name in the downloaded list, then you are PM Ujjwala Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana-  https://pmuy.gov.in/ ) And get LPG connection under this scheme.

    Just extract the downloaded zip files and open the xslx (Microsoft Excel) file and press Ctlr + F to find your name . If you get multiple entries with the same name, cross-check it with your address or parent's name.
