This Henna cannot lighten your dark hair color-
Henna is a non-damaging plant-based dye that you can use to stain your hair a reddish-brown color. Applying henna dye to your hair can be quite messy, but health and therapeutic benefits which come along with it are just outnumbered as compared to chemical hair dyes. but it also reduces dandruff, nourishes your scalp and conditions your hair
You need to prepare the henna mix in a bowl way before the application. Henna comes in powdered form, you need to mix it with water to get a paste like consistency. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and leave it for 12 hours.
Before you apply henna, wash your hair and scalp (do not use conditioner as it can prevent penetration of henna) and dry your hair.
Please wear worn out clothes and cover your neck and shoulder with a towel to prevent staining
Apply some coconut oil in your hairline including your forehead, neck and ears to prevent staining.
Section your hair and apply Henna with gloves all over your hair.
After you are done applying henna all over your hair, take a shower cap or wrap and cover your hair. Wrap it well all the way around your hairline without covering your ears. ( Recommended 3 Hours).
Hop in to a shower and rinse it with cool/cold water (NO SHAMPOO) without conditioner and rinse until water runs clear.
Henna takes about 24 to 48 hours to develop properly, it will appear orange initially and later the colour will deepen.
For first time users especially if you have been using chemical hair dyes in the past, it may take 2 – 3 applications of Henna to provide best results. Individual results may vary .
